BRIEF
Motivo Media partnered with the Seattle Waldorf School to create a series of promotional videos that capture the essence of their unique, holistic education approach. The school aims to highlight how their curriculum nurtures not just academic skills, but also the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of each child. Our goal was to authentically portray the school environment through candid moments and heartfelt interviews with students, teachers, and faculty.

PRODUCTION
We initiated the project with several pre-production meetings to align on the creative vision and messaging. After thorough discussions, we determined that a dreamy documentary-style approach would best showcase the school's philosophy in action. Over the course of several days, our crew filmed at both the High School and Early Childhood campuses, focusing on spontaneous interactions, touching interviews, and all of the charming details that cultivate such a special learning environment.
Our team was fortunate to capture a wide range of activities, from artistic endeavors (like painting, crocheting, and rock band sessions) to outdoor play (like gardening, basketball, and rock wall climbing), which beautifully illustrated the school’s commitment to holistic education. In addition to cinema-quality cameras and dollies, we also utilized a drone to film an aerial view of the grounds, including the play sets, garden, and neighboring forested areas.
Throughout the shoot, we emphasized a warm, inviting atmosphere, allowing the genuine voices of the community to shine through. The students and faculty were enthusiastic about sharing their experiences, which made our job easier and enriched the final product.
RESULT
Motivo Media produced a series of captivating videos optimized for various platforms, including social media, the school's website, and email newsletters. By creating tailored content for each medium, we ensured that the school’s message reached a broad audience, amplifying fundraising efforts and sparking increased interest in the school’s enrollment for the upcoming year.
In addition to boosting visibility, the campaign fostered a renewed sense of pride among students, parents, and faculty, reinforcing the strong community spirit at the Seattle Waldorf School. The success of the project showcased the power of visual storytelling in capturing the heart of educational philosophies.
