BRIEF

As the pandemic swept across the country, small businesses and freelance artists were hit hard. Many struggled to stay afloat as the economy took a downturn. Cisco wanted to bring attention to these underrepresented businesses and showcase their products and services to the world. We were asked to launch a photography campaign featuring 8 business owners across the country, shot by local photographers and accompanied by interviews and quotes from each participant. The goal was to raise awareness and support for these small businesses, shining a light on their resilience and determination during a difficult time.

PRODUCTION

Motivo launched a nationwide search for local business owners and photographers to participate in a photography campaign. After carefully selecting the candidates and hiring the photographers, Motivo worked closely with the client to determine which businesses to feature. They coordinated with both the businesses and photographers to ensure that each shoot went smoothly and met the client's vision. Once the photography was complete, Motivo provided all assets to the client for branding and post-production. The campaign was a success, showcasing the resilience and determination of these small businesses during a difficult time.

RESULT

The photographs were posted on Cisco's social media platforms, where they garnered a great deal of attention and engagement. The photographers also shared the photos on their personal Instagram accounts, bringing even more attention to the campaign.

As a result, the businesses featured in the campaign saw an increase in brand awareness and support, highlighting their resilience and determination during the pandemic.
